ABOUT
Natasha Lommi is a Helsinki based contemporary dancer, choreographer and teacher and has worked widely in the field of contemporary dance for nearly 20 years. She was raised at Tamara Rasmussen Institute and graduated as a dancer from Danshögskolan, Stockholm in 2005 and from the Department of Dance at the Theatre Academy in 2007. She has worked with several acclaimed Finnish choreographers throughout her career as a dancer and is currently employed at Tero Saarinen Company.
As a choreographer she has worked with contemporary dance, theater and opera and been responsible for choreography in, e.g. large concert ensembles, advertising productions and dance films. She has also worked as a choreographer's assistant in professional dance companies and theatres.
Lommi is also one of the founders of the multidisciplinary TARGET Helsinki ensemble. She has also worked as a dance teacher since 2000 and has taught both professionals and children in different parts of Finland.
